Tattnall County is served by two local weekly newspapers and two local radio stations. The Tattnall Journal, based in Reidsville, was established in 1879, and the Glennville Sentinel was established in 1923.
With the predicted demise of newspapers in big cities, the free press is alive and well in Tattnall County and other small communities across America, thanks to the editors of thousands of weeklies who continue to tell it like it is and report the news important to the people who live in their communities.
