Georgia Grown Trail: 301

The Georgia Grown Trail: 301 covers an eight-county corridor that passes through Tattnall County. The trail begins at Screven County and ends at Charlton County.
The Mission of the Georgia Grown Highway 301 Trail association is to develop, promote and preserve unique destinations along the corridor.

U.S. Highway 301 is one of the most historic highways east of the Mississippi River and a delight for those weary of the monotony of interstate highway travel and who want to sample the flavor and diversity of the communities and cultures that made this country great.

Adventurous travelers eager to experience "life in the not so fast lane" will find this stretch of the highway introduces them to Georgia's world famous pound cakes, sweet Vidalia onions, an old-fashioned drive-in theatre, fine local wines and much more.

Tattnall County features  Armstrong’s Cricket Farm, award-winning wines at Watermelon Creek Vineyard and fresh produce at Georgia Grown you-picks such as DC Durrence Farms and Ray Farms. Travel to Reidsville for lodging, camping, fishing, and golf at Gordonia-Alatamaha State Park. The Glennville Sweet Onion Festival and Parade traverses through a beautiful downtown celebrating Tattnall as the largest grower of Vidalia Sweet Onions. Tattnall County --- the adventure begins!
