Tattnall County Government participates in the federal E-Verify Employment Verification Program. This internet-based system is part of the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) Program initiative and allows businesses to determine the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States. Tattnall County is required to publish its federal ID numbers and dates of registration on its website.

Some positions with Tattnall County require the applicant to be a U.S. citizen, which is stated on the individual job posting.
